DINGUS GRIFFIN SCORES SLM VICTORY AT TST

Eastaboga, AL (July 28, 2007) – Dingus Griffin used the top side of the track to take the lead with five laps to go to pick up his second win of the season in Super Late Model action at Talladega Short Track on Saturday Night.

Danny Peoples finished in the second spot with Terry Smith third.  Fourth spot went to Ross Martin with Tim Roszell rounding out the top five.

Steven Forsythe picked up the Thundercar twenty-lap championship event over Scott Magouirk in second and Bubba Haynes in third.

Logan Yates picked up his thirteenth win of the season in Crate Late Model action on Saturday Night.  Jimmy Elkins finished in the second spot with Dustin Stewart third.

Jason Hiett picked up the caution-free twenty-five lap Sportsman feature event over Josh Adkins in second and Dougie King third.

Eric Smith won the twenty-lap IMCA Modified feature event over Michael Pickette in second and Michael Strickland third.

Dillon Crim picked up the Street Stock win with James McAvoy enjoying the victory in Hot Shot action.

Action resumes at TST this Saturday Night August 4^th featuring a full race program in all divisions.  Gates open at 4PM with Hot Laps at 6:30PM.
